Música: Keane go bigger than life
- The Guardian, Wednesday October 1 2008
Stadium rockers Keane appear to have undergone a reinvention since frontman Tom Chaplin's recovery from drug addiction, exchanging their lugubrious sound for a more upbeat approach on their new album, Perfect Symmetry, out next month. And now it seems they're coming over all artistic. The album cover for Perfect Symmetry bears a geometric pattern inspired by the Bauhaus design movement. And the band have themselves become artworks: Korean artist Osang Gwon has made large sculptures of all four members.
Chaplin said: "They're life-size (a bit bigger, actually) - spooky, stunning, hyper-real and funny, all at the same time".
